Keep a record of all serial numbers, makes & models. Many APPS are now available for smart phones and tables to help keep an accurate inventory of your personal belongings.

Keep guns locked in gun safes.

Activate or install tracing APPS for smart phones and tables.

Install motion sensor lights outside of your home.

Use timers on lights when away from home for more than one day.

Utilize the Residential Security Check Program when away for home for vacation, or any other event that takes you away from home for more than one night.

Don't leave valuables in your cars.

Keep bicycles locked up when not in use. Utilize the Bicycle Registration Program to help return your bicycle, in the event it is stolen and later recovered.

Keep a record of all credit card contact information in the event that you need to call and cancel your cards that are lost or stolen.

Monitor your bank accounts and credit card accounts on a regular basis.
