Don't leave valuables in your car while at the beach.

Lock your bikes up at night, and at the beach accesses.

Lock your vehicles at night and don't leave items of value in them.

Don't leave Rods & Reels in boats, under cottages, or on decks.

Lock all doors to your cottage when leaving.
-
Don't leave boogie boards, surfboards, or beach chairs under your cottage.

TIPS TO KEEP YOU SAFE ON THE BEACH

Never swim alone or at night. Swim in areas with on-duty lifeguards.

If the RED FLAGS are flying, everyone should stay out of the water.

Observe the surf before going in the water; look for potentially dangerous currents.

Non-swimmers should stay out of the water.

Keep non-swimming children OUT OF THE WATER UNLESS AN ADULT HAS HANDS ON THE CHILD.

Keep an eye on children at all times; teach them never to turn their backs on the waves while they play at water’s edge.

Do not swim near anglers or deployed fishing lines.

Always keep a watchful eye on the weather.

Stay 300 feet away from fishing piers.

Watch out for surfers and give them plenty of room.
